R&A Providers
Australian and New Zealand Robotics and Automation Providers
Over the past decade Australia has developed a leading international position in robotics research. The Australian robotics community punches well beyond its weight in the international arena:
- Australian researchers are often only third in number after Japan and the US at most major gatherings;
- Australian research groups lead the world in real applications of robotics in areas such as mining and water-front automation; and
- Australian researchers dominate international robotics competitions such as RoboCup.
